opening it the first time

Every computer is suspicious of a program it has not seen before. Nothing is wrong with the app — this is what happens to free software that isn't signed with a paid certificate. Here is the way past it on each system.

Mac — "Apple could not verify Yuvin Desktop Hub is free of malware"

Do not click "Move to Trash". Click Done, then pick either way:

Without Terminal. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to the Security part, and click Open Anyway next to Yuvin Desktop Hub. Confirm with your password or Touch ID. You only do this once.

Or, in one line. Open Terminal, paste this and press Return, then open the app normally:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Yuvin Desktop Hub.app"
Windows — "Windows protected your PC"

Click More info, then Run anyway. SmartScreen shows this for any installer it has not seen many times before.

Linux — installing the .deb

Open a terminal where the file landed and install it:

cd ~/Downloads sudo apt install ./Yuvin-Desktop-Hub-*.deb

The "download is performed unsandboxed as root" notice is normal and harmless.
